Troy and Brenda Renter came to Oskaloosa First Assembly of God in October 2008 after hearing the call of God to leave their pastoral staff position in Port Washington, Wisconsin where they were on staff for 8 years as the children and youth pastors. Troy and Brenda have been working with youth and children professionally for over 20 years; with having a background counseling and working for Human Service fields. Their heart’s mission is to reach children and families.
Troy and Brenda love the outdoors, traveling and going to movies. Troy’s favorite hobbies are sports and hunting and he is an avid Nebraska Cornhusker football fan. Brenda loves hiking, anything outdoors, antiques and crafting.
Troy and Brenda have 2 children, Jonah & Aleda who have both play an active role in their ministry through the years, from serving in Children’s church to helping in nursery.
