What an amazing story of God’s deliverance for His servant Peter
Herod had planned to put me to death - but God had delivered me
The Jews wanted me destroyed - but Jesus set me free

Isn’t it amazing how the believer’s who were gathered praying for Peter’s release, didn’t believe
They were asking God for a miracle.
The miracle happened and they at first didn’t believe it.

Do we really believe what we believe is really real? - Dr. Del Taggett
The apostle’s upon hearing the news of the empty tomb? Questions and Doubted
Those who were on the mountain at Jesus’ ascension into heaven. – Some doubted
Why did God deliver Peter but allow James to be put to death?
Did He love Peter more?
Did James do something wrong that God was punishing him for?
Why God did you heal their child but let mine die?
Why did that person get a promotion and I get a pink slip?
What have I done wrong?
What am I missing?
Why am I being punished?
God, You are unfair!
God, do You know what You are doing?
There are times when ‘God allows’ doesn’t make sense to us.
 God has a plan
Hebrews 11:32-40
40 God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the
heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your
thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
 God is Ultimately in Control

Job 1:12 - The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man
himself do not lay a finger."
Job 2:6 - The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life."
God allowed Job to tested.
God however would not allow Satan to take his life.
 God will set all things right IN HIS TIME
We can’t see what God sees.
We can see what is behind.
We live as if we know what is ahead.
Only God sees what will happen today and tomorrow
God doesn’t cause our loved ones to suffer and die.
God is not the author of pain, sickness, or sorrow.
Be careful in your time of sorrow.
It is okay to share with God how you feel.
Be careful not to bring an accusation against Him.
Be careful not to allow the enemy to poison your spirit and fill you with bitterness.
God has something better planned for us!
We may never know why.
Our God is fair, holy, and just in all His ways.
